Alice Clifford

Alice is a Business Development Executive at Rethink Ireland.

Prior to entering the third sector, Alice worked as an architectural engineer both in London and in West Cork, where she permanently relocated in 2017. Alice stumbled into the world of social enterprise through work on a project in her own community, which she took through the Social Impact Ireland Incubator in 2019. Needless to say, she hasn’t looked back, and has since continued to lead this project whilst working in non-profit consulting, with a focus on strategic planning and fundraising.

Alice holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Bristol, a Certificate of Higher Education in Public Policy Analysis from the London School of Politics and Economics, and a ‘Best Cakemaker 2019’ award from her swim club, the Lough Ine Lappers.

When not working, Alice can generally be found in a field with her donkeys and miniature ponies, up a hill with her dog Roo, or on a beach with a seal pup, as part of her voluntary role with Seal Rescue Ireland. Alice promises that she has human friends, too.
