Pádraig Fitzgerald

Pádraig is a Fund Manager at Rethink Ireland.

Pádraig graduated from NUI Maynooth with a BA in History & Philosophy and received an MA in International Relations from UCC.

Pádraig previously worked as the International Programmes Manager for The Hope Foundation and oversaw the NGO’s projects in West Bengal, India. Pádraig was responsible for the organisation’s programme management for 60 projects that worked with street-connected and slum dwelling communities. He was also responsible for the organisation’s financial management of projects and governance. As part of his work with The Hope Foundation, Pádraig was awarded by the Eurpoe/India Centre for Business & Industry as being one of the top 40 Under 40 Leaders promoting EU/Indian relations.

In his spare time, Pádraig is a fan of a wide variety of sports. He coaches underage teams in his local soccer club and still plays with the adult team when his knees allow him to! He is a huge fan of the outdoors and is an avid hiker and also has a keen interest in gardening, rewilding and ecological conservation.
