Joanne is an Associate Fund Manager at Rethink Ireland.

Prior to joining Rethink Ireland, Joanne worked as Head of Programmes and Deputy CEO for Suas Educational Development. She has worked for over 13 years in the education NGO sector, managing and supporting a range of education programmes for children and young people in Ireland, Austria, Cyprus, Malta, India and Zambia. Joanne completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in European Studies at Trinity College Dublin and the College of Europe, Bruges, and she is currently completing an MSc in Educational Assessment at the University of Oxford. She is passionate about equal educational opportunities for all and is particularly interested in the ways we can use assessment to support education and learning.

Originally from Tipperary, she has lived in Dublin for some time after stints in France and Belgium. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to (live) music, reading, traveling and keeping fit!
